The Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris, which finished second in the FIA eTouring Car World Cup’s former guise as PURE ETCR last year, will being a touch of electricity to the world of boxing next weekend.
An example of the car, which took a one-two finish on the streets of Copenhagen with Philipp Eng and Luca Filippi, will be exhibited at the Allianz Cloud, Milan, when Alessio Lorusso and Jacob Barreto contest the European Bantamweight title on April 9.
“Motor racing and boxing could be seen as two worlds very far away from one another, but in truth, they share common values,” said Romeo Ferraris Team Principal Michela Cerruti.
“In both cases great determination is needed to win, both in the daily preparation and at the moment to go on track or to the ring. It will be exciting to follow Alessio’s match for the European title and to see the Giulia ETCR displayed in a special livery, in a different setting.”
For the fight between Lorusso – nicknamed ‘Mosquito’ and Barreto, the Giulia ETCR by Romeo Ferraris will carry a one-off livery that celebrates the combination of motor racing and boxing.
